Our mission is to help the people of Red Bank to encounter Jesus Christ, grow in meaningful community, and serve our neighbors.

Our Story

Located in the hills of Red Bank, a suburb of Chattanooga, TN, Alpine Baptist Church has been a faithful part of the community since 1965.

2026 began a new season for Alpine.

While looking for a new pastor for over a year, the church unanimously voted Josh Powell as their new senior pastor in February of 2026.

In this new season, our church is choosing intentional renewal. This means seeking to be faithful in the present and hopeful for the future, rather than relying solely on what God has done in the past. Our congregation is asking God to do a fresh work through our church, and we are willing to embrace necessary change for the sake of the Gospel.
