Your First Visit
We know visiting a new church can feel a little awkward: Where do I park? Will I have to raise my hand as a guest? How much small talk is coming?
At Alpine, we try to make things simple and welcoming. When you park, you’ll see greeters at the main entrance right by the lot, ready to help you find your way in.
Our service is about 60 minutes, 3–4 songs, a 30-minute expositional message, and a time of reflection and prayer.
As for what to wear, no need to dress up. Most people come casual.
Address: 4720 Stagg Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37415
Time: Sunday, 10 AM
For Parents
We have a brand-new nursery for infants to 4-year-old children. Come inside our entrance nearest our parking lot and continue through the hallway, on your right will be our nursery space.
A volunteer will help you check in, give you and your child a security badge, and make your little one feel welcomed! After the service, you will show your copy of the security badge to ensure your child leaves with only the approved parent or caregiver.
All of our volunteers have been verified, trained, and background checked.
Josh’s Story
Alpine has been a faithful and historic church in the Red Bank community since the 60’s! We’re so excited to build upon that strong foundation for a new generation.
Our story with Alpine Baptist Church began with an unexpected text from the church’s pastoral search committee. They had received my résumé through the Hamilton County Baptist Association and wanted to explore whether I might be interested in pastoring at Alpine.
During that first meeting with several members of the congregation, I asked about Alpine’s history, what they loved about their church, and what they hoped God might do in the years ahead. Their answers were simple and hopeful; they looked forward to a day when children run down the halls, and their laughter fills the building, when families from the surrounding neighborhood walk to church together on Sunday mornings.
As we listened, it became clear that God was using those shared hopes to shape our own sense of calling. What began as a conversation grew into a conviction that the Lord was leading our family to step out in faith, join the work at Alpine, and serve both this church and the Red Bank community for the long term.
